The Amsterdam Study Visit of the 'Innovative Approach for Developing Social Entrepreneurship' project of Aydın Young Business People's Association (AYGİAD), whose social entrepreneurship project was found successful and carried out within the scope of the Grant Scheme-VI (CSD-VI) for Supporting Civil Society Dialogue between the EU and Turkey, was held.

Efeler Mayor Mehmet Fatih Atay, AYGİAD Chairman of the Board of Directors Utku Uyanık and members of the board of directors, project partners (AGİKAD) Aydın Entrepreneur Women's Association Chairman Senem Bircan and member Efsun Alp attended the study visit in Jungle Amsterdam, Mehmet Altunbaş from International Labour Association (ILA) from the Netherlands, Necmettin Meletli and Sandra Lamptey from Integration for All (IFALL) from Sweden, Emre Özceylan and Ekin Yılmaz from Social Impact and Innovative Education Association (SOYED), Orhan Kurt, TABIT R&D Manager, Reyhan Gülpınar from Aydın Governorship.

Entrepreneurship Practices Transferred

In the program, the point reached in the project carried out in Aydın, the Netherlands and Sweden, which will be implemented for 15 months between April 1, 2021 and June 1, 2022, was presented. International Labour Association (ILA) Mehmet Altunbaş from the Netherlands made a presentation on the city of Amsterdam to provide a strong network in social entrepreneurship. In his presentation, he shared the social entrepreneurship practices implemented in Amsterdam. Within the scope of the study, two best practice examples, Impact Hub and Amsterdam Impact, were visited. The aim is to create a vibrant and leading impact ecosystem by connecting NGOs, research centers, knowledge institutes, established companies, government agencies and many young and creative entrepreneurs who want to make a difference. The event ended with the evaluations of the participants. At the end of the program, participants received a certificate of participation.
