He talked about TABİT and Vodafone Smart Village at the ETU Entrepreneurship Summit organized online by TOBB ETU Economics Community. Akın said, "We established it so that our farmers can see, touch and apply technology."

Tabit Co-Founder Tulin Akın attended the ETU Entrepreneurship Summit organized online by TOBB ETU Economics Community. In addition to Tülin Akın, E-Bursum Founder Mesut Keskin, Open Open Association President Itır Erhart, Kodluyoruz Founder Gülcan Yayla, Givin Founder Başak Sucuka, İhtiyaç Haritası Founder Ahmet Batat participated in the event. The topic of the summit, the second leg of which will continue on Wednesday, October 21, was "Everyone should know entrepreneurship". In the program, where the advantages and difficulties of entrepreneurship and the events experienced in the field of entrepreneurship were explained, the participants expressed their experiences by giving examples. Speaking at the summit, which focused on the entrepreneurship ecosystem, being an entrepreneur, success and failure stories, Tülin Akın gave examples of the developments she experienced during and after the establishment of Vodafone Smart Village. Stating that dreams will never come true unless they take action, Akın said, "Of course, there were difficulties in the first stage. Nothing is done by waking up in the morning and saying let's do this. It takes a certain amount of labor and many stages. But our young people now expect immediate success. There are risks and difficulties," he said.

"We established the Smart Village Project so that farmers can touch technology"

Giving examples from Vodafone Smart Village, Akın said, "We have 24 personnel in the Smart Village and 24 of them come from different cultures. There is an engineer living in our village and an aunt working in the kitchen. For example, our aunt in the kitchen says let's sell the molasses we boil. This is entrepreneurship for me. Another one says 'since they buy molasses from here, let's package and sell the products produced by the women in the village'. Another says 'let's open a website and sell it'. Many ideas are generated and put into practice. For example, we came up with the idea of a Smart Village in 2012 and we were able to realize it in 2015. We established the Smart Village project so that farmers could see, touch and apply technology. We dared to establish the Smart Village after smartphones were in everyone's pockets, because there was a device that could now control technology. The important thing in entrepreneurship is to maintain and sustain the excitement. It is important to create an exciting environment. In fact, what the entrepreneur needs to do is to keep this excitement alive."
