The Agricultural Mechanization Information Technologies Working Group under the General Directorate of Agricultural Research and Policies of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry organized a workshop titled "Multicountry Observational Study Mission on Innovative Smart Farming Models for Agriculture 4.0" on 29-30 June 2022 with the Asian Productivity Organization, of which we are a member through the Ministry of Industry and Technology.

The workshop was hosted by Turkey and Japan and attended by experts from the People's Republic of China, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Cambodia, Pakistan, Philippines, Vietnam and Iran. Prof. Dr. Ufuk TÜRKER from Ankara University, Canan ERAKMAN from TAGEM and Dr. Mesut YILDIRIR from the International Livestock Research and Training Center Directorate made presentations on Agriculture 4.0 Smart Agricultural Technologies in Turkey and shared information.

On the first day of the workshop, Orhan KURT, R&D Manager of TABİT Smart Village, which we connected live, explained Smart Agricultural Technologies in Crop and Animal Production for about 90 minutes on live broadcast from Smart Village.

Before the narration, a brief introduction about the Smart Village was made by watching the introductory video prepared by TABİT Smart Village Agricultural Content Editor Ece Nur BALOĞLU, who worked behind the camera during the whole shooting.

Afterwards, Orhan KURT gave information about the Agricultural Monitoring Center and introduced the awards received by Tabit Smart Village Founder Tülin AKIN. Continuing with the field trip, Kurt informed the participants about all the technologies in the Smart Village such as New Generation Garden Layout-Digital Leaf Technology in Olive Growing, Family Poultry Farming and Technology, New Generation Production Area Stringing System Fig-Root Tip Moisture Measurement Technology, Smart Pasture and Collective Milking System.

On the second day of the workshop, Hüseyin Cüneyt Menkü, the founder of HCM Farm, which we connected live, talked about Smart Agricultural Technologies in Animal Production for about 60 minutes on live broadcast.

The workshop was followed by many participants from Turkey and abroad.
