The consequences of climate change on food supply and proposed solutions were discussed in a program organized by the Turkish Food and Sugar Industry Workers' Union (Şeker-İş).Şeker-İş organized the "Future of Food in Our Hands Summit" in a symposium format at a hotel in Ankara today.
At the summit, where food transformation was discussed within the framework of climate change, the causes of the food crisis, solution proposals for the problem, possible risks and opportunities related to the issue were put forward and the urgent steps to be taken against the climate crisis were discussed. In the symposium, where sessions were organized under the titles "The Impact of Water and Climate on the Future of Food", "New Resources and Technologies in the Future of Food", "New Trends and Perceptions in the Future of Food", "The Role of Stakeholders in the Future of Food" and "The Future of the Strategic Sugar Sector", the issue of sustainability in reliable food was discussed.
