The Pathways2020 project is an important initiative in which the Smart Village stands out as the application area of technologies and training. Using innovative methods such as Agent-Based Modeling (ETM), Internet of Things and Citizenship, the project aims to design paths to sustainability and contribute to the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

The initial aim of our project is to conduct an interdisciplinary literature search on agent-based modeling and simulation techniques used in sustainability projects, to document these methods, and to establish a coherent set of methodologies. Second, it is to test the effectiveness and evaluate the feasibility of IoT-based smart agriculture practices on the biosphere, agriculture, human and environment issues (SGH 6: Clean Water and Sanitation, SGH 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities and SGH 15: Life in the Soil).

TABİT plays an important role in this important project. Thanks to its technological expertise and knowledge on Smart Village and sustainability issues, it makes significant contributions to the project. TABİT has significant experience in using innovative methods such as Agent Based Modeling (ETM) and Internet of Things (IoT).

TABİT works towards the goal of forming an international interdisciplinary group by forming local teams and bringing researchers and non-academic stakeholders together on a multidisciplinary basis. In this way, it is aimed to spread innovative methodologies in the science of sustainability and to carry out inspiring studies on sustainable development and smart agriculture.

This cooperation in the field of Pathways2020 project, Smart Village and sustainability will contribute to the economic and social empowerment of the society and will be an important step towards sustainability goals for the future. These efforts, led by TABİT, made significant progress in the field of sustainability and contributed greatly to the achievement of the project's goals.
