Tabit Agricultural Solution Center offers a special education program for children within the scope of the Smart Village project. This program allows children to learn the basic principles of agriculture while discovering how it integrates with modern technologies.
As Tabit, we carry out the "Women Farmer Training" program in order to contribute to the economic empowerment of women. In this project, we aim to empower women farmers by using technology to produce their crops and become economically stronger. Tabit and Vodafone launched the "Vodafone Farmer's Club" program, the first social business model for farmers in Turkey. Thanks to this cooperation, "Vodafone Farmer Tariffs", which are offered specifically to farmers, have been developed to meet their communication needs and support agricultural activities. Tabit managed the idea, planning and organization processes of the project and achieved success by working in partnership with Vodafone. Thanks to these efforts and achievements, their projects were awarded the Jury Prize in the "Social & Business Co-Creation: Collaboration for Impact" competition, in which 338 projects from 34 European countries participated.
Ermenek Agricultural Academy School of Medicinal Aromatic Plants Project is an initiative initiated for the conservation and on-site cultivation of more than 400 medicinal and aromatic plants in the Ermenek region. The seeds of the plant varieties that remained under the water of the dam to be built in the region were collected and cultured on the lands in the higher codes. The project was established by Tabider Agricultural Awareness Association with the contributions of Vodafone Foundation and Ermenek Municipality and aims to increase agricultural awareness by providing information to farmers about medicinal and aromatic plant varieties, collection periods and marketing.
