CATEGORY : PROJECTS
Subcategory : Technology and Innovatıon Projects
This project has been developed to meet the green fodder needs of large livestock, small livestock, or poultry using a fresh feed production system in a climate-controlled room. The aim is to address the green fodder requirements in regions without pastures and to provide high-nutritional value green fodder production for animals in an 18m2 facility.
Problem Area of the Project
The project aims to provide an economic and efficient solution to meet the green fodder needs of animals in regions without pastures.
Social, Economic, and Environmental Impact of the Problem
- Social Impact: Increasing agricultural productivity can enhance social welfare by providing animal owners with more income and nutritious feed options.
- Economic Impact: Reducing feed costs in pastureless regions can bring economic benefits to livestock breeders.
- Environmental Impact: Local green fodder production can reduce the need for transporting animal feed to distant areas, thus lowering carbon footprint.
Our Solution Strategy
- Using a fresh feed production system in a climate-controlled room to ensure rapid and efficient growth of green fodder and meet the daily feed requirements.
- Providing technical support and training to farmers on the use and maintenance of the facility.
Unique Aspects of the Solution Strategy
- The fresh feed production system in a climate-controlled room offers an environmentally friendly solution for efficient green fodder production in limited spaces and pastureless areas.
- It enhances animal welfare by providing high-nutritional value green fodder production for animals.
Project's SDG Impact
Zero Hunger, Food Security, and Improved Nutrition
Green fodder production can contribute to better nutrition and adequate feed for animals, thus supporting the fight against hunger.
Sustainable Cities and Communities
Economic and efficient feed production can enhance the quality of life for communities in rural areas.
